TraceMark was built with a "Privacy First" philosophy. This app is designed to be a utility that functions entirely on your device. Data belongs to you, and TraceMark is designed to ensure it stays that way.
1. Information Collection and Use
TraceMark does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.
- No Personal Data: TraceMark does not have access to your name, email address, phone number, or location.
- No Usage Data: It won't be tracked how long you use TraceMark, or what features you interact with.
- No Image Data from your photo library: While the app processes images to embed hex identifiers, this happens locally on your device. TraceMark does not store modified copies of images from your photo library. It stores only the metadata required to prepare the TraceMark output, and applies that data to the image each time you open it for sharing or copying. No images or image metadata are ever uploaded to a server or shared with any first, second or third party.
2. Permissions
To function correctly, the app may request the following permissions:
- Photo Library / Storage: This is required solely to allow you to select images for processing and to share or copy TraceMark output when you choose.
3. Third-Party Services
Because the app does not require an internet connection and does not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs (like Firebase, Facebook, or AdMob), no data is shared with third parties.
4. Security
Since no data is collected or transmitted, there is no risk of your personal data being leaked from "servers" — because there aren't any involved. Your data's security is managed by your device’s operating system.
5. Children’s Privacy
No personally identifiable information from children is collected, as no information is collected from anyone at all.
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
The Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Since we do not collect your contact info, we cannot notify you directly. We encourage you to review this page periodically for any changes.
